ABOUT THE STAR:
Yumeka Sasaki is a popular Pink Eiga actress and is regarded as one of the most talented. Her trademark is a rose tattoo on her stomach. She was born in Hiroshima, Japan, on June 13th, 1972. She is 5’4” tall and weighs 42 kg (about 92 lbs.).
She won a beauty contest in Hiroshima that she entered to pit herself against her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend. After working on TV shows and commercials, she became a Pink Eiga actress in 1998 with “Deme-King.” She didn’t know the production was Pink Eiga, instead, thinking it was V cinema (straight to video or DVD). But she was very interested in the genre because Pink Eiga films show something that mainstream films do not. She is great at portraying unyielding women and punk girls; however, she can also play a sensitive lady very well. She has a younger sister, Nikki Sasaki, who is also a Pink Eiga actress. They worked together in “Nurse Sisters” (directed by Osamu Sato).
She really loves her hometown of Hiroshima. On August 6th, the Memorial Day for the dropping of the atomic bomb, she spoke out with a message of peace and understanding.
She received a best actress award at the Pink Eiga Film Festival for “You Are My Toy” (directed by Yuji Tajiri).

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:
Daisuke Goto is one of the greatest directors and writers in the Pink Eiga world. He graduated from Waseda University, where he had produced some independent films. After graduating from the university, he started working at Nikkatsu studio (one of the major film studios in Japan) as an assistant director and a producer. At that time, Nikkatsu produced art-porn films called, “Nikkatsu Roman Porn" (legendary theatrical porn films series). Goto had the opportunity to work on those productions. In 1988, he directed his first feature, “Bed Partner,” which was ultimately the last film of the Nikkatsu Roman Porn series. Thus, Daisuke Goto is the last director of Roman Porn. He won the new director prize at the Zoom Up Film Festival for his debut film. After he left Nikkatsu, he directed many films for both theatrical and video release.
In 2001 Goto began his foray into Pink Eiga as the director of “Mourning Wife.” His first Pink Eiga film was awarded second prize at the Pink Eiga Film Festival. This is an incredible achievement for a new director. Since then, he has directed Pink Eiga films constantly, and all of them are praised greatly. Especially “A Lonely Cow Weeps at Dawn (2003), which is regarded as a masterpiece of Pink Eiga, for its eccentric ideas fused with straight, pure love, and romance. He continued to explore the boundaries of the genre with his romantic comedy, “Blind Love (2005),” which enjoyed high admiration. He can work with various types of genres including, tragedy, action, comedy and so on. He is regarded as one of the greatest Pink Eiga filmmakers of all time.
Daisuke Goto’s filmmaking experience is not limited to Japan. In fact, he shot a theatrical film in the U.S: Scorpion’s Revenge. This film is part of Women in Prison: Scorpion Series, which Quentin Tarantino is a great fan of.
