ABOUT THE STAR:
Kikujiro Honda was born in Niigata, Japan, in 1965. He made his Pink Eiga debut in 1986, and he has starred in about 100 Pink Eiga films in his career. In the 1990’s he frequently worked with the great Pink Eiga director Toshiki Sato and writer Masahiro Kobayashi (an internationally known filmmaker). In 2000, he joined the theater company, “AUN,” which performs Shakespeare. Recently, he has worked on mainstream films and TV shows in addition to Pink Eiga. One of his most recognized non-Pink Eiga films is “Bathing” (directed by Masahiro Kobayashi), which was an official selection of the Cannes International Film Festival Competition. In the 1990’s he was a regular office worker, but he quit that job to devote his life to acting.
He can naturally portray two-sided characters like the good husband who is actually abnormal or a jovial boss by day, dirty pervert by night. He received the Best Actor award at the Pink Eiga Film Festival twice. He very accurately depicts a regular office worker, since he used to be one himself. His main hobby is composing Haiku.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:
Osamu Sato is the most highly regarded up-and-coming Pink Eiga director and writer. He began his career as an assistant director on Satoru Kobayashi’s film (a legendary Pink Eiga director, who directed over 400 films) in 1995. He has worked with Akira Fukamachi (Secret in the Attic, Semen Demon), Yutaka Ikejima (Moon Light Dinner) and Mototsugu Watanabe (Sexy Battle Girls, Sexy S.W.A.T. Team) since 1997, as assistant director. He learned to direct and organize Pink Eiga from these great filmmakers. Sato has been an assistant director on over 130 Pink Eiga films so far. In 1996 alone, he assisted on 21 films.
His directorial debut was in 2002 with “The Wife Boutique.” His directorial style and skill gained instant appreciation from this inaugural film. His films are creative works that capture emotional drama in its raw, true form. Sato is particularly good at representing authentic women. He presents a girl who finds out her lifework is S&M in, “Slave” (2007).
“Coming Out” (2005) depicts a lesbian girl who is hiding her lesbianism from her boyfriend as she struggles to come to terms with her homosexuality and change her life. Therefore, his films are touching for female audiences.
He was praised for “Slave,” which is Pink Eiga actress Rinako Hirasawa’s autobiographical film (Rinako Hirasawa plays herself in this film).
