| Plot: | A former military man, Takeshi Ajisawa (Japanese superstar Ken Takakura) takes charge of a young girl who is the only survivor of a mass murder case. Takeshi must take on the underworld who has taken over his town.

| Overview: | Director Junya Sato ("The Go Masters") and best-selling Japanese author Seiichi Morimura ("Proof of the Man") combine forces to deliver an epic of drama, mystery, and action. Following a mass murder in rural Japan, ex-special forces solider Ajisawa (Ken Takakura, "Black Rain") adopts the only remaining survivor of the massacre, an amnesiac young girl named Yoriko. Seeking to put the secrets of the past behind them, the pair instead finds themselves in conflict with the corrupt and powerful leaders of a small town. As Yoriko's memories begin to re-emerge, Ajisawa must call upon his killer instincts to survive against the odds.
