A good, if not run of the mill, pinku movie but not a great nunsploitation movie. The movie has all the required sex, kinkiness, and escaped convicts as any other 70s pinku film, but the convent setting could be interchangeable with an a strict all-girls school or a prison. A nunsploitation movie needs more sacrilege and whippings to really give you that controversial expose of nuns the others have. The ending is pretty elaborate, although it does cop out a little like "Satanico Pandemonium", but it is still way out there.
If you're looking for the next great "School of the Holy Beast" you'll be disappointed, but then again there isn't another nunsploitation movie that can stand up next to "School of the Holy Beast", but if you're looking for a good 70s pinku ride this will satisfy. |
