 | | | | Badly written and acted, with insufficient visual appeal to make up for its other failings. It has come to the point that watching any performance by Bai Ling feels like a shameful view through the peephole of a deteriorating specimen--uncomfortable performing in English, emaciated, and dressed like a lunatic. | | AGREE? | READER COMMENTS | AUTHOR | | Y | I haven't seen this film, but your sentiments re: Bai Ling are spot-on. I cringe whenever I see her. She had a great performance in "Three Extremes" but beyond that she's almost unbearable to me. | Choco |

 | | | | Probably would have downgraded this rating but I am a Bai Ling fan--ever since "Red Corner" with Richard Gere, which I can't find. When the action comes (which is sparse but good), you may not care. All of the other actors make Bai Ling's performance seem better than it was. But like I said, I'm a Bai Ling fan. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |
