 | | | | There is not much to say about this film, other than the fact it has great sword fights, decent cinematography, and a very uninteresting plot (because these stories are too common) about rescuing some general from execution from a malignant goverment. It's a good film, don't get me wrong, but it's too familiar. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

 | | | | Just average wuxia yarn with Jimmy Wang Yu as a rebel leader out to save a rebel general being held prisoner. Along the way he is helped by a wandering acrobatic troupe. Unfortunately, two key battles take place at night and these scenes are woefully underlit, making it hard to see what is going on. Good to see Hsu Feng, and, thankully, by the third act she is given the opportunity to kick some butt during the lengthy final battle. In an ironic twist, the general is not interested in being freed but would rather be tried, becuase he is such a patriot. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |
