 I liked this. Yes it's low budget, yes the acting is spotty, and yes it's been done before; but there is just something about it that made it fun in that cheap B-movie kinda way. I've always enjoyed the whole "popular restaurant has a dirty secret" plot, going all the way back to a "Tales From The Crypt" episode where Christopher Reeve serves up his landlord as a meal. The movie knows its limitations and works well with them. They don't try to make an Oscar level film on a tiny budget, they go for the cheap thrills and deliver. |
