ALTERNATE SYNOPSIS:
A gang of thieves sets off an explosion in an old mine in order to distract the local authorities from their true objective - stealing gold from the bank vault in town. To insure their getaway to Canada, the robbers take hostages with plans of leaving them once they reach the border. Unfortunately, a storm rolls in and the gang is forced to hide in a remote ski lodge. But their arrival has disturbed a terrible creature residing in a nearby cave, and it is hungry!
