Plot:	Set in feudal Japan, it follows the path of an ambitious warlord who fulfills a prophecy stating the he will become king. But he only achieves his goal by murder... setting off a chain of violence that will ultimately claim him, too.
Overview:	Akira Kurosawa's stunning reconception of Shakespeare's "Macbeth" is a visual feast, full of powerful images of sound and fury. Set in feudal Japan, it follows the path of an ambitious warlord who fulfills a prophecy stating the he will become king. But he only achieves his goal by murder... setting off a chain of violence that will ultimately claim him, too.
