This film seemed more stylish than sexy - my apprecaition for it, and its place in the evolution of the Roman Porno genre, was greatly enhanced by the excellent background information provided in the special features section of the DVD. A twisted and kinky Rampo Classic, a marriage of Poe and De Sade. The sex is inventive and kinky, from clowns to chairs, nothing is normal here. A very surreal minimal film with a pair of murderous and totally unrepentant main characters. It really is one of those hallmark pinku movies that showcase how utterly unlike they are to any other kind of genre. They're so much more than your garden variety sex movie, and it is that mixture of sex movie and art movie that makes this movie so much fun to watch.
