| This flick was pretty uneven in its continuity of characters--people sort of come and go without resolution or reason and the plot line is pretty minimal. The much vaunted 'see-thru-panties' of the titular Yo-Yo-slinging heroine of the piece aren't really see through because there's a big wooden police badge/star right at the 'point of interest'.
The 'plot' centers on a girl who is being blackmailed by the police to act as an undercover agent for them to infiltrate a teenage prostitution ring at a high school. At first she comes off like a tough sukeban girl gang leader then inexplicably decides to submit to the existing girl gang prostitute leader at the high school to get an 'in' and develops a deep friendship with her. She falls in love with a guy she meets walking down a set of stairs and he ultimately deflowers her then just disappears from the scene... it is later revealed it was all part of a 'set-up' to destroy her.
In the end, after several over-used character reversal plot twists, Yo-Yo girl appears to be heading off for her ultimate vengence by blowing up George Bush while he is meeting with the Japanese prime minister (who is supposed to be one of the clients of the high school prostitute ring), but it's all off camera with only some sound effects to hint at the deed.
When the credits rolled, my end reaction was: HUH!?! Still, a few good skin shots and some cute girls make the whole affair watchable, but just barely! |
