Overview:	Mariola dreams about a better life. She wants to leave the small provincial town where she lives. Her boyfriend Artur invites her for a short vacation to Germany, the country of his residence, to introduce his beautiful fiance to his parents. On their way they spend the night at Artur's friends' place in Berlin. But when his pals show up and hand him money, it turns out that Mariola has just been sold to be a prostitute. Two million people are sold worldwide every day. Two hundred thousand of them are women sold to work for brothels. Fifteen thousand of them are Polish women. This film is a story about one of them.
