The acting of every character is dramatic and believable and the story will make you angry, sad, and finally happy.

My only criticism is the quality of the English subtitles [on the Malaysian DVD by Ember Power]; they are atrocious. In certain situations, the pronouns--he and she--are mixed up, so you can only guess who's speaking. However, I must temper this remark. Although I've lived in Japan for 26 years, it's a revelation to be able to finally understand what characters in Japanese TV dramas are saying. Their words in many cases are profound.
