I was very impressed with this Japanese series that dared to delve into such sensitive area as the life of women who approach their 40th year in life. The show talks openly and honestly about many usually-silent issues that these women face in their lives and (sometimes amuzing) solutions that they come up with to help their lives match up to their dreams. The characters are diverse and very lovable, very easy to relate to. It is somehow nice to be a woman on the other side of the globe and know that we all share the same dreams and challenges. Mostly for women, I think, though my boyfriend loved it too. |
