One part "Sunset Boulevard", one part "Perfect Blue", all mixed together with Takashi Ishii's always provocative erotica. I do have to admit I did figure out the plot twist fairly early on--there are really only two options and I guessed right--but the movie does a really great job of making your head spin. Other movies try this and either get lost somewhere in the middle or cop-out, but this one stayed the course and was great.
The movie is like Ishii's other pictures--jam-packed with nudity--but it isn't really a softcore movie. It is an ultra high end pinku that, despite all the really kinky sex, manages to keep itself on course. If you liked "Flower and Snake", this will definitely be your cup of tea. Even if not, you should give this a try; it might surprise you as more than just a titty movie. |
