We have "Saving Private Ryan", South Korea has "Tae Guk Gi", and now Hong Kong has "Assembly". I caught this War-Drama earlier and thought it was pretty good.
For the first hour we follow a man and his squad of 40+ soldiers forced to hold up at an old mine and fend off against the invading armies.
The second half follows the commander as he attempts to distinguish what happened to his fallen brothers, since he was apparently the only one to survive the onslaught.
The film offers high production values, good action, and a good amount of blood and guts. Worth a look if you like a good War-Drama. |
