 | | | | A film worthy of the respect given to "Saving Private Ryan". Fantastic on a visual level and very poignant on an emotional one. The performances are above par, the connection made to the characters is quick yet effective, and the battle scenes are truly horrific. I cannot reccomend this film highly enough. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

 | | | | It started with "Saving Private Ryan". That finally showed WWII as a gritty and violent war, which spawned other war movies about WWII and other great wars. In Korea they had a movie called "Tae Guk Gi", which I loved; and now China has "Assembly", a moving and violent war picture which I really enjoyed. The action is brutal and violent, but it's war; and with all the war movies and games, I get the message: war is hell, and "Assembly" again reinforces that message. But I enjoyed this picture. It was moving and thrilling. I recommend this to all the war/action buffs out there. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |
