This film is all dependent on how much of a Bruce Lee, "Green Hornet", or "Batman" fan that you are. The 60s "Batman" show has always been full of camp and cliches, while "The Green Hornet" has just been a mundane counterpart. Yes, Bruce Lee gets to do some fighting, but it's mostly shot from bad angles. The action and story are all really cheesy, but that's what you come to expect from these shows. However, I think even "Batman" fans will be disappointed because for such a big crossover, these episodes have possibly the worst villain ever. It's definitely worth seeing if you are a hardcore fan or collector. Otherwise, you're not missing all that much, except a good laugh.

Contemporary action fans may enjoy the fan film featured on the PanMedia DVD far more than the crossover episodes.

First of all, what I'm reviewing is the 2006 "Green Hornet" short film. The fight direction of the Green Hornet is how I feel his combat skills should be like. Considering Kato's skill, you'd think the original one (Van Williams) would've shown more. The "short film"was "OFF DA HOOK".

This DVD had 2 classic episodes from the TV sitcom "Batman". It starred Kato and the Green Hornet. It was great to see these classic shows. This was a step back into memory lane with Bruce Lee.

If it's Bruce Lee, it's good; but I'm only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because Bruce isn't the main star of the show.

As a sampler, this collection will bring satisfation to fans of The Green Hornet. The pilot episode is a serious beginning to the Green Hornet series. The Batman crossover provides a campy look at both sets of crime fighters, including a "battle" between Kato and Robin. Finally, the bonus short fan film is an enjoyable update of the Green Hornet legend, complete with extended martial arts scenes. The fan film, however, is missing the last three words from the newscaster that are present on the YouTube version: "...mysterious character. Goodnight." Regardless of this omission, I would recommend this Green Hornet collection to fans who desire an overview of what was and what could be.
