Overview:	Sue is a boatman's daughter with stars in her eyes. Rich man Chow is struck by her beauty. So he sends his friend Ha bearing rich gifts for Sue's parents. His mission: to get Sue as Chow's concubine. But Sue falls for Ha instead. Joe, the boy next boat, is in love with Sue. Joe's brother has been courting Sue's sister and inadvertently makes the sister pregnant. Sue's parents thus arrange a double wedding, pairing Joe and his brother with Sue and her sister. Sue elopes with Ha to Macau, where Ha tries to sign the marriage certificate in Chow's name...
