After being kidnapped, and forced to become the wife of some loser, a woman wakes up married to a guy in a town full of people who can't read. This is after she attended college. WTF!

Our main character is a pretty tough chick though. Other women in her position have given up, and ask her to give up as well. Screw that! She continues to do everything she can to get away. Even when it feels hopeless, and while watching this film her plight will feel hopeless. So, stick it out. I had to re-watch the last few exciting seconds of this flick a few times. I was waiting for her to do what she did, and you'll be happy to see her do it too.
