| Plot: | A beautiful wartime traitor, and Manchurian princess, known as Eastern Jewel, actively works with the Japanese invaders during World War II. A true story.

| Overview: | Kawashima Yoshiko, the daughter of emperor Xu, was sent to Japan for training when she was an adolescent in order to rebuild the Ching Empire. Yoshiko was intrigued by the Japanese culture, and worked with them during World War II. Her life ultimately ends in tragedy.
This film is sometimes compared to The Last Emperor of China. Andy Lau's performance is perhaps the best of his career.
