ALTERNATE SYNOPSIS:
Alt-Asian maverick Kim Ki-Duk ("The Isle", "Bad Guy", "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter...And Spring") takes a scalpel to modern culture's obsession with youthful beauty and unattainable physical perfection. After two years together, Seh-Hee thinks Ji-Woo no longer finds her attractive and disappears. His latest film, "Time", explores how plastic surgery can change one's life both physically and psychologically. Pretty Seh-Hee realizes the relationship between her and her boyfriend Ji-Woo is at risk when Ji-Woo shows no interest in making love with her. Devastated by Ji-Woo's indifference, Se-Hee decides to go for plastic surgery, and finally resurfaces in Ji-Woo's life with a totally different appearance. Se-Hee's transformation not only brings surprise to Ji-Woo, but also distruption and vengeance.
