This movie is a wild ride and highly recommended for fans of Japanese cult cinema. It is complete with good samurai swordplay, along with plenty of samurai sword-wielding naked Japanese women. If you try to make sense of it, it won't make sense. So just watch it with a grain of salt and enjoy it for the classic cult film that it is. If you're not into pinky violence or Japanese cult cinema, you will not like it.

This is an excellent film. Filled with so much samurai fights, naked girls, torture methodology, and fornication that you would think this is a hardcore porn film (on a whole other level of course, not suggesting the hardcore to be relevant towards copulation). The story was the most shocking. Ishii is known for his irrational deviations in terms of plot and story to the point where everything is malformed and contorted, but this one--my God, he kept the story intact (except a couple of deviations involving a torture scene with a white nun). Great vocalization and dialogue.

This film is worth every penny to titillate your consumerism needs. (And by the way the naked girls are real hot, if you're into that sort of thing.)

Great fights. With a title like "Bushido", it sounds bad ass, and is. Lots of blood and nudity. Great story, kind of reminds me of "Shogun Assassin", although not as dark but just as bloody. By far the most nudity I have ever seen in a martial arts/swordsman type flick. It lags in a few spots but otherwise two severed thumbs up!

Definitely the most nudity I have ever seen in a samurai movie--really the most nudity I have seen in anything outside of porn. Leave it to Teruo Ishii to go full out on this one. A tale of organized prostitution in Edo Period Japan and the ronin who enters their world mainly because he has nowhere else to go. Nobody makes films like Ishii now this either a good thing or a bad thing. This is one of his more sensible films in the vein of Female Yakuza Tale or Blind Woman's Curse not the surrealist insanity like Horrors of Malformed Men or Screwed. Definitely worth watching and if you're a fan of samurais and naked chicks you really can't go wrong with this one.
