 | | | | A very enjoyable romp coupled with a nice dash of comedy and martial arts. A definite Stephen Chow classic, as well as for its sequel "Royal Tramp 2". Stephen Chow, as a good for nothing' loser who manages to run into different and interesting characters who has their own ambitions to overthrow the emperor. Swearing his loyalty to whoever is threatening his life at the moment, Wei gets sucked in and mixed up in the middle of the palaces' intrigues. Along the way charming the princess (Chingmy Yau), assisting the emperor, helping a group of revolutionists, matching comedic smarts against a corrupt official, etc. You'll be laughing through the whole movie trip. Highly Recommended!!! | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |
