| Overview: | Those wacky aliens are at it again! This time they team up with a disgruntled scientist who was ostracized by the scientific community for his radical ideas concerning telepathic control of animals, as well as his claim to have found a giant underwater dinosaur (which he called "Titanosaurus"). Together, they salvage Mechagodzilla from the bottom of the ocean and repair him. Then, they send Mechagodzilla and Titanosaurus (who is being telepathically controlled by the scientist's cyborg daughter!) out to [what else?] destroy Tokyo. This, of course, annoys Godzilla, who doesn't like other monsters trespassing on his "stomping" grounds (pardon the pun). Pity the poor Japanese Defense Force--they don't know who to attack first! This movie is certainly an improvement over the previous one, and both Mechagodzilla and Titanosaurus look really great. Overall, this is a really great Godzilla movie, with great special effects and a fun plot. In fact, this movie marked the return of Inoshiro Honda, the original Godzilla director, and was one of the high points of the old series. Unfortunately, it was also the last movie of the old series...
