Plot:	Aaron Kwok (THE STORM RIDERS) gives a bravura performance in this unflinching suspense thriller directed by Oxide Pang of the Pang Brothers fame (THE EYE). Kwok plays Tam, a dingy private detective obsessed with a mysterious case in Thailand.

Kwok is Tam, a dingy private detective in Thailand. His latest case is to find a woman for his friend, whom he claims is trying to kill him. As Tam begins his investigation, however, he finds himself knee deep in a mystery that becomes murkier, as each new lead Tam gets always uncovers a dead body or puts him in great danger. Now thoroughly obsessed with the case, Tam vows to find the truth behind the deaths and track the woman down. Filled with the unmistakable Pang Brothers signature style of arresting visuals, atmospheric music, and unexpected shocks, THE DETECTIVE is a solid nail-biter that will keep you on the edge of your seats.
