I found the film very boring and dull because the story was very weak and the actors didn't seem to be acting--it seems as if they just put one face on the whole film. The fight scenes are shot from horrible angles and most of the time you're trying to figure out what just happend. Also, it was confusing to distinguish who was a dude and who was a chick between some of the actors. I would've lowered the rating, but the film does offer some beautiful music and visuals. If you're in it for the looks, you'll like it. If you're in it for a good movie, then look elsewhere.

Although I think it will take multiple viewings to fully understand this film, I know already that it is beautiful, well directed and blessed with an extremely good cast. Ha Ji-Wan is enormously appealing as Namsoon, the female detective, and Ahn Seong-Gi is extremely good as Detective Ahn. I am not convinced Kang Dong-Won as "Sad Eyes" is quite up to their level (That's where repeated viewings will tell) but he doesn't do anything to bring the picture down.

I would give this a high recommendation.

A beautiful, genre-defying, thoroughly entertaining shaggy dog story of a film. This is what I go to the movies for--or buy DVD's.

This film has divided viewers. Reviews have been either scathing, or glowing. I'm in the radioactive camp.

From the opening scene, you know that this is a special experience. The cinematography is breathtaking. (The 3-disc Korean edition even has an audio track featuring only music and foley...basically everything but the dialogue.) The story may not be the most complex, but really, this is an aural and visual experience. I found myself wanting to rewind scenes, but then not wanting to halt the experience. Costumes, colours, rhythm.....this is the ultimate visual film experience. The soundtrack is superb, and adds another layer to every scene.

Buy an edition with DTS, plug in a subwoofer, hold on and enjoy the ride.

Recommended. If you like it, you will be planning a revisit soon.

I bought this movie because I liked Ha Ji-won in Ditto and Sex is Zero. But this movie just doesn't fit her into the character she plays. Maybe it was the jerky style of story telling or the many redundant scenes thrown in. Fine actors and sets were put to waste here.

This movie was really funny. I loved the fight scenes between to the two main characters. It was really cool.

This film is funny for me very much. I knew this film since last year. I like this actor because he's handsome and good action.
