Really a great movie. I've seen it when I was very young. I love dogs so it's very intense to see how they manage with the cruel environment. Sinon c'est vraiment d'la balle! Yes I am French!

This is a wonderful movie for people who like animals--and even those who don't. Antarctica has never been filmed more spectacularly, the music score by Vangelis is supreme, the story based on fact, the dogs are the real stars. Once seen, this movie is never forgotten. A true classic for all the family.

This film was great: much more realistic than Disney's "Eight Below" (which I also loved). Really grateful I could get hold of this version, a real tear jerker!

The movie was excellent. Way better than the recent American remake.
