| Overview: | The two films in this collection represent the foundation of Pedro Almodovar's work and announced his emergence as a visionary storyteller long before he won the praise of mainstream America.
His career began in Madrid where he purchased his first Super 8 camera and dedicated himself to the art. Years later after joining an avant-garde theater group, he met his muse, Carmen Maura, who would go on to star in several of his projects, including "What Have I Done To Deserve This?", "Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown", and "Volver". In 2003, Almodovar won the Oscar for both Best Director and Best Original Screenplay for "Talk To Her". No film library is complete without these rare cult classics from the King of New Spanish Cinema.
Includes the following two films by the acclaimed director: "Dark Habits" and "What Have I Done To Deserve This?".
