This movie was horrible. I didn't enjoy it at all. There's no storyline that is interesting enough to keep you awake; there's nothing but people eating zombie's lurking around a police station; the acting is so not convincing and it was just utterly disgusting to watch. After the first half hour or so, you just want to shut the tv off because you feel like you want to throw up. The humour they tried to use is not funny and a good 3/4 of the film is just watching people eat other people. The ending makes no sense and it just seems like they threw random scenes together. DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE. It's not worth your time or money.

Some say that this (also known as BIO-CRISIS COPS) is a true sequel to the very entertaining Chinese RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD wannabe, BIO-ZOMBIE, from a few years ago and it even brought back quirky, character actor, SAM LEE from that same film, even though his character died in it. But, to be honest, after the first fifteen or so minutes, you quickly realize that this quick attempt to cash in, zombie-fluff starring STEPHEN FUNG (from GEN-X COPS and AVENGING FIST) just isn't in the same league as BIO-ZOMBIE. However though, in it's defense, director CHENG WAI MAN has given us some really funny moments (the ass-biting fiasco and the scene when the man's arm is being eaten as SAM LEE screams) and there's a few very nice horror movie moments (the tainted blood rushing to the heart CGI style and the slow-motion zombie horde hallway chow-down). But it's the really stupid parts (and trust me, there's a-plenty!) that drag it down, making it oh-so hard to sit there and watch. I mean there's slow scenes in a movie and then there's SLOW scenes in a movie, and the ones shown here are painfully agonizing to view. I remember thinking to myself, "DAMN, please get this thing going!" So, with that in mind, on a scale of "A" to "E", I give it an "A" for the story-idea (the government is reanimating dead bodies as "painless soldiers" to police the globe), an "A" for the story-development (the guy in charge, actor BENNY LAI, gets infected and spreads it to others as he creates an army of "Zombie New Humans"), but it gets an "E" for the follow-through because it all falls apart with the slapstick acting, the goofy characters, and the downright idiotic subplots. It's just what that stupid RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD 2 movie did to the original RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD horror-camp classic. And that's too bad because I really, really wanted to like this movie more than I actually did.

This movie... I'm trying to think of a good way to explain it without using "offensive language." It's not that it's terrible -- it's just really exquisitely lousy and not only has nothing to do with Bio-Zombie (which I understood it to be the sequel of), but in fact recalls the really stupid ending of Zombi 3 (with the now-zombie DJ Bluetip broadcasting his message of worldwide zombie domination and the "New Order"). The difference is that while the ineptitude of Zombi 3 makes it a lot of fun to watch, the ineptitude of Bio-Cops just makes the whole movie feel limp and boring, when not almost offensively stupid. The "humor" is far from funny (except, I suppose, for one or two jokes), the zombies look terrible and do stupid things, and the action is pretty boring.

I love zombie movies. I've watched worse movies than this because they were about zombies, or had zombies in them, or had things like zombies that briefly appeared in them... But this one is one that I don't think I'll watch again. The only reason I don't regret buying it is my almost obsessive compulsion to buy every zombie movie I can find. If you are a zombie movie fanatic such as myself, then there's no point in reading this, because no description is going to keep you from watching this movie anyway... But if you're not, and you're just hoping that this is a good follow-up to Bio-Zombie, or even a good Asian zombie film the likes of Versus or Wild Zero... Well, then don't say I didn't warn you.
