When watching it initially for the first hour or so, it appears as a standard drama/romance category film.

However, without giving too much away, there is a twist to the story about an hour into it which takes elements from a more fantasy/sci-fi genre, enough to change the landscape of the story and add value to the film so that you would want to rewatch it time and time again to see whether there were bits that didn't click the first time round.

The music is great, the acting is superb and its a great story all round.

Very worth watching - possibly my favourite film of 2007 even though this category of film is usually not my sort of thing.
