 | | | | Great gialli from Sergio Martino. While not as glamorous as his other outings like "Case Of The Scorpion's Tail" or "The Strange Vice Of Mrs. Wardh", it still does entertain in that special gialli way. It toured the US a great deal in the '70s and, with "Twitch of the Death Nerve", really helped lay the foundation for the modern slasher movie. While it does remove some of the whodunit in exchange for a more horror final act, it is still a gialli full of gorgeous naked women, crazy surreal 70s camerawork, and plenty of gore courtesy of a psycho with a knife. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

 | | | | A good, solid giallo movie in which a bevy of beauties are picked off one by one by a masked killer. Like all giallos there are plenty of suspects but the killer's identity isn't revealed until the last minute. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

 | | | | One of the best Giallo's not just of the 1970's but any period. Suspenseful, violent, and an excellent climax with the killer's identity well hidden untill the end. Only let down would be for gore hounds on the film's well known cuts here in the U.S. Joseph Brenner had the most violent scenes edited before submitting them the to the MPAA, but most of the footage would have gotten an "R" rating anyway. Just don't expect this to be "Twitch of the Death Nerve". | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |
