Overview:	Through the story of a brief but indelible love affair, "The Delta" takes a very contemporary look at the volatile intersection of class, sexuality and race in America. The doomed romance between Lincoln, an affluent white teenager, and Minh, the immigrant son of a poor Vietnamese woman and a black G..I., takes the audience on a trip through a series of private worlds. Set in Memphis, a city filled with bars, clubs and nameless pool halls, and where gay men look for sex in seedy back streets and porno cinemas. When Lincoln and Minh set off by boat down the Mississippi, it's just another in a long series of failed escapes for both of them. Yet their differences are so great that they must remain forever trapped in their seperate worlds.
