You can't beat the storyline that comes from the past cartoons. The imagination that went in to these "Transformers" of the past is hard to match. When your kids say it has a better storyline than cartoons of today, there is no doubt the original "Transformers" are the best. I'm up to season two, DVD 7, and newer Transformers are joining the story. The ones that left Sybertron millions of years ago, like Omega Supreme. Just a great set of DVDs to have.

This is one of the best animated television shows ever created in the entire existance of the universe. This show came out back when cartoons could get away with a little violence, and not have some cheesy family call in and complain about something.

I was looking forward to the Hollywood version, but was erked when I saw they butchered my favorite storyline to suit the needs of the ball-less stortyline writers they have these days.

I found this set of the original show (not the crap remake shows), and it has survived the test of time. "Transformers" shines in all its glory here with this 4-season set. If you really want to know what happens originally on Cybertron, this is your answer. Transformers ROLL OUT!

Transformers, Episodes 1-98. The greatest series ever created. It has truly stood the test of time. If only they would pick up where they left off and continue it. Autobots, transform...and roll out!!
