Overview:	George Radamantes seems to have found the secret of immortality. For this he needs a girl who seems to live from drinking blood. Pierre, who has fallen in love with her, tries to find her and free her out of the grip of her father. During his search he accidentally finds a freaky suicide cult. In the castle of lust of the gruesome vampires, he finally finds the answers to many of his questions and much more than he bargained for. Jean Rollins second great film in 1969 was the signpost for all his following films and the first one in color. With his usual surrealistic style he tells us a vampire fairy tale typical for him. Fans of Rollins will very much enjoy Castle of Lust of the Gruesome Vampires. The crazy surreal masks, the dreamlike atmosphere, the wrapped up ideas and costumes, and not least the first appearance by the pretty Castel twins will have the every connoisseur weeping.
