 | | | | Another great Meiko Kaji vehicle where she is in the heart of the underbelly of seedy Ginza. This is a really great movie because, in addition to the blood-spraying violence and the drama of the down and out, there is a dash of humor, something that is rare in the Meiko Kaji movies I have seen ("Lady Snowblood" movies, "Female Prisoner Scorpion" movies, "Stray Cat Rock") and the humor was a welcome addition to the usual formula. Colorful and engaging, this is a must-have for all "Lady Snowblood" fans. It may not be the Meiji era, but she still finds a way to get a hold of a sword and mete out some justice on the bad guys. | | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

 | | | | Great film with Meiko Kaji. In contrast to her other films, she is also funny in this one. | | AGREE? | READER COMMENTS | AUTHOR | | Y | Yeah, this was probably the most 'lighthearted' we'd ever seen her and it just made her all the more cute. | tasken_lander |
