| Overview: | Following in the path of Sex and Zen, this goes back to the Ching Dynasty as a pretext to demonstrate a variety of antique torture devices--many invented by the filmmakers for this film.
Lovers Little Cabbage and a scholar are put on trial for the murder of Cabbage's husband by overdose of aphrodisiac, which caused his massive member to explode.
The real culprit is the magistrate's son, who is committing adultery with the scholar's wife, which was witnessed by Cabbage. The adulterous couple frames the platonic couple (Cabbage was still a virgin) to cover up their own affair. Most of the film is taken up with the farcical trial, where the judge uses torture to convince the framed lovers to confess.
