Chiao Chiao plays a tough as nails swordswoman who mistakenly thinks she is being rejected for marriage. She hastely leaves town but figures it all out in time to try to save her lover who has been framed for a crime he didn't commit. Excellent story along with some grerat swordplay. Higly recommended.

Worth checking out, loved the decapitation scene and swordplay.

Great performance by Chiao Chiao (much less known than Cheng Pei Pei or Shih Szu). Good old storyline involving corrupted officials and framing an innocent hero. Above average action, mostly swordsplay. Very good cast. Good choreography. Great sets and costumes. Nice Shaw classic revived thanks to Celestial! No hesitation to recommend it.
