| Ceci (played by Charmaine Sheh) was an abrasive lower class girl. She had been spoiled by her father, Souza (played by Wong Jing) to the extent that she could not even cook a bowl of noodles properly.
S.K. To (played by Hacken Lee), was the only son of Madame To, the head of a big catering group in HK. At the Supreme Dim Sum competition, Jade Rice, who came from a long line of royal chefs in Beijing, won the competition. Madame To wanted S.K. to marry Jade. However, there was no chemistry between them.
One day S.K. was kidnapped by a gang. He escaped and found refuge in Ceci's home. The following few days, they fell in love with each other.
A few days later, S.K. went back home. Madame To offered to give Ceci 10 million dollars if she left S.K. Ceci could not bear such insult and vowed to learn the art of cookery and became a master chef herself.
She went to Macau and became a disciple of Lady Green (played by Yuan Qiu), who came from a family of royal chefs which belonged to the Southern school of cookery.
A month later, a duel was held between Ceci and Jade, which would not only decide which school of cookery was the better, but also the fate of love between S.K. and Ceci.....
