Plot:	Man-hating good-time girl Marie (Vanessa Paradis) is still haunted by her mother's suicide, blaming her missing pimp of a father (Gerard Depardieu) for her death. So she tracks down her brawling, drunken father with the intention of killing him...
Overview:	Man-hating good-time girl Marie (1990 Cesar-winner Vanessa Paradis) and her fellow orphan friends Solange (Clothilde Courau) and Ahmed (Sekkoy Sall) spend their time hustling, clubbing, crashing weddings, and having a great time. Marie, though, is still haunted by her mother's suicide, blaming her missing pimp of a father, Jacques (Gerard Depardieu, "Cyrano De Bergerac"), for her death. After terrorizing her grandparents, she finally tracks down her brawling drunken father to the Bretonese Isle de Seine with the intention of killing him as revenge for her mother's death. A powerful, provocative and modern story of redemption, wonderfully directed by Jean Becker.
