Brothers Five All Content Used With Permission. ![]() Thrilling kung-fu revenge flick which is about 85 percent fighting. Surprisingly the fighting never got old or repetitive, thanks to a wide array of weapons and styles used. A strong cast of familiar faces, including a very young Sammo Hung in an early role. The final move is so reminiscent of Transformers Devastator, five becoming one, it made me laugh but it still worked well with the rest of the movie. If you want a decent if not deep plot and a movie that is pretty much a cavalcade of fighting, check this one out, you won't be sorry. ![]() An all-star, swordfighting battle royale. The top genre stars of that time all in one flick! Sort of like a "Justice League" of Chinese martial artists! I defy you not to have a crush on Cheng Pei-Pei! ![]() -Hung Boxing Kid (see my profile) ![]() What a great cast! Cheng Pei-Pei, Yueh Hua, Chang Yi, Lo Lieh, Tien Feng and many more! A true classic of brotherhood and honor! Plenty of great action (mostly weapons). Great storyline. Beautiful sets. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is that I did not like the "special technique" at the end of the movie. As mentioned, great cast and well-directed. Great choreography. Look for Sammo Hung in a secondary role. A true must-have. I would have given it a 4.75* if possible. Highly recommended. A true gem! -Roger Judd, Jr. (see my profile)
