Plot:	Chow Yun Fat plays a CIA agent on a secret mission en route to China. He is taken to a remote Shaolin monastery to await further instructions and by accident, falls in love with a beautiful girl with supernatural powers.
Overview:	Chang Ching (Chow Yun Fat) is a Chinese descendant in the US. He is assigned to a mission in Beijing, where he has to bring a "treasure" back to the US. To Ching's surprise, he is being settled at the Shaolin Temple where he encounters a young girl, Siu Ching (Wu Chien Lin). He does not realize that Siu Ching is in fact the National treasure of China as she was born with Supernatural Power. This espionage/romance film merges comedy, drama, bullets-and-bombs action, martial arts and supernatural adventure. Chow delivers a good performance throughout, and there are moments where he really shines. Also very strong in this film is the charismatic Wu Chien Lien, as Chow's romantic interest.
