This delicious morsel of exploitation goodness features a beautiful teen who runs her girl gang with guile and guts. Rica bounces in and out of reform school between bouts of beating up local yakuza, but when another gang kindaps her girls to mail to Vietnam (to be rape fodder for American GI's), she gets nasty looking for payback. Plenty of fisticuffs, knife brawls and catfights mixed in with the sex and nudity. This flick starts at 90 miles an hour and never slows down. Good times.

Awesome movie. The main character is almost in the vein of The Man With No Name. She also exhibits greater morality than the average pinkie violence heroine.

Fantastic pinky violence movie, the plot goes 90 mph the entire movie and any 10 minutes would make a great exploitation flick.

A Toho attempt to make a "Pinky Violence" film. Good acting, good production values, a very beautiful actress, good action, but a little too much squirting blood for my tastes. Also, somehow it just doesn't quite fit in with other Pinky Violence films. Still quite good.

A really great movie. Interesting for all who liked "Girl Boss Guerilla" from Norifumi Suzuki.

Okay, the plot seems circular and episodic. That's the point - her life has none! Her decisions and choices are flawed and the results sometimes tragic. This is the realistic life of a juvenile thugess. Other films have women beating up men, but here, due to her Caucasian/Asian mix, she has the reach over all the men! Combined with her street deb persona, she is a formidable action star. But she shouldn't sing (probably not her voice anyway). Why watch this? Because it is flat out full speed ahead. The plot moves like lightning with every exploitation element or situation that you could want at least once if not two or three times. There are some scenes that could offend, but the film doesn't dwell on them and they are over before you know it, then onto more crazed exploitation goodness. If you enjoyed "Zero Woman: Red Handcuffs", then this movie is for you. I have ordered "Rica 2", and can't wait to get it!

One of the best of the Pinky violence or Japanese "roughies" films. Not the endurance test as "Beautiful Girl Hunter" or some others are, but this film delivers the goods. And in a comic book style nature, so this would be a good starting point if you have never seen a Japanese roughie before. I can't wait to see the other "Rica" films.

Ages well for a 70's film. I would say it's a girls-with-weapons flick, but "Rica" usually fights with her fists.
