A movie that's all over the place. There are a lot of elements here--action, comedy, musical--and none really shine. There's a "campy" appeal to it, but the action isn't great and the comedy isn't all that funny. The biggest problem is the amount of characters. You can't really grasp the importance of a majority of them. They could have "cut some fat" and made this the "5 Worms" or something. Instead we have "Worms" popping up at various places doing different characters then disappearing for awhile. Usually you'd have a small band of unique fighters that would appeal to various viewers. Here it's a bunch of people who hardly distinguish themselves from each other. An okay watch but I doubt it will require repeat viewing. |
