Interesting concept of a film as I had yet to see a film set and centered around Khazakhstan. Would have been interesting of the differing nomadic tribes each had unique fighting styles, but this wasn't referenced. Cover appears to try and draw in the fan of "300" but the film isn't like "300". A very mild, pedestrian film that somehow got very over-rated. The movie's "epic" action sequences are all mediocre and uninspired, lacking true intensity as well as excitement. There is nothing that stands out about this movie as a war movie or a film about a peoples' struggle against oppressive antagonists. While it does contain a few good performances from its actors and some decent cinematography, it still comes off as a boring rehash of things already done before. Not as good as "300" and NOWHERE near as good as "Musa: The Warrior". Avoid this movie.
