Plot:	The story of the lovely Anne and her intriguing little sister, Muriel, who invite their Parisian friend Claude to spend one summer with them in England, and then spend the rest of their lives wrapped up in their changing relationships with him.
Overview:	One of Truffaut's most tantalizing romances, TWO ENGLISH GIRLS is the story of the lovely Anne (Kika Markham) and her intriguing little sister, Muriel (Stacey Tendeter), who invite their Parisian friend Claude (Jean-Pierre Leaud) to spend one summer with them in England, and then spend the rest of their lives wrapped up in their changing relationships with him. During these holidays, Claude, Anne and Muriel become very close and he gradually falls in love with Muriel. But both families lay down a one-year-long separation without any contact before agreeing to the marriage. So Claude goes back to Paris when he has many love affairs before sending Muriel a break-off letter... Concerned not so much with feelings as with feelings about feelings, the film is simultaneously introspective and passionate and is a companion piece to Truffaut's earlier masterpiece, JULES AND JIM.
