Plot:	Two cops are after the criminal scum running amok in Los Angeles--the neighborhood voyeur who peeps on lesbian housewives, the slimy sadist who goes berserk at a massage parlor, and a cheerful serial killer who hacks up ladies in a local park.
Overview:	Plainclothes cops Eddie Haskell and Bob Streeker hate freaks. No, not the sideshow kind. The "freaks" they're after are the criminal scum running amok in Los Angeles -- like the neighborhood voyeur who peeps on lesbian housewives and the slimy sadist who goes berserk at a massage parlor. But number 1 on their hit list is a cheerful serial killer whose hobby is hacking up ladies in a local park: "I hate women! You're rotten! Rotten! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!" And the reason the guy is able to get close to his victims while simultaneously fooling the police is--are you ready?--because he dresses in drag. Which is particularly mind-boggling since he is perhaps the single most hilariously unconvincing "woman" in the history of motion pictures... Geared for the seventies drive-in crowd by producer Harry Novak and the director of "Please Don't Eat My Mother", "A Scream In The Streets" is as gleefully preoccupied with sex as it is with cops and robbers and deftly mixes crime and carnality with an abundance of sizzling skinflick starlets--including red-haired beauty Sharon Kelly, God bless her--who all happily demonstrate the sensual side of 9-1-1!
