Plot:	When a respectable, suburban father brings home a lab rat in a cage, the rat starts to exert a strange, hypnotic power on the family: these repressed suburbanites toss their inhibitions to the wind and embrace their darkest erotic and morbid fantasies.
Overview:	This is an amusing, entertaining gloss on suburban decay. When the respectable, staid father brings home a lab rat in a cage, the latter starts to exert a strange, hypnotic power on the family: these repressed suburbanites toss their inhibitions to the wind and embrace their darkest, wildest fantasies, be they erotic or morbid. Owing a big debt to the films of Luis Bunuel and Pedro Almodovar, "Sitcom" has the same irreverent, sacrilegious kicks of the former and the sultry, melodramatic absurdity of the latter. There is a powerful, sinister undercurrent to the hilarious plot and the film contains bizarre fantasy, arch comedy, and a charming camp sensibility.
