| This sequel is bit darker than the original, with more horrific overtones. The gratuity and gore have also been turned up a notch, but not at the expense of a well told and well filmed story. It also has its share of humorous moments. Looking for obvious association with the first installment, Amy Yip is featured in a cameo role. This in another fine example of exploitation that works, in spite of the assumed notoriety of the Category 3 genre. A highly entertaining sequel that stands just as well on its own merits. |
