The good: Good sets, excellent camerawork.

The bad: Plot could have been good, but they played some parts as comical that should have been serious, which made it weird. A lot of it is based around a mistaken identity that makes no sense and I'm guessing was lost in the translation.

The action: Not much, but it's pretty "realistic". Wang Lung Wei hardly fights at all, which is a disappointment. There's some bench fighting which is cool.

All in all, it can easily be missed.

Actually, I don't like this film as far as the plot goes, but the fight scenes are top notch. Worth checking out.

Young Wang Yu and Yuen Wah. Very good fights, but somehow feels like a Jackie Chan film without JC.

It was alright, I was expecting a little more for a film made after "Dirty Ho" with Wong Yu and Wang Lung Wei both in it.

Nothing special, but the movie does have its usual killer Shaw Brothers kung fu action. The story was a little obnoxious, but okay.

Very good martial arts film.

Whilst wildly inconsistent, mainly due to the film's tone swinging from serious to comedic without pausing for breath, and lacking a strong lead performance, The Kid With A Tattoo is worth watching mainly for the last half hour. The action there is fantastic.

Plus Yuen Wah's always worth watching.

Top entertainment from beginning to end. It's a pleasure to see Wang Lung Wei as a bad guy. Fantastic fight scenes.
